Copenhague /Berlin / Palma de Mallorca
Hello everyone, friends of Sounds In Me! How is everyone? This marks a new entry in our video blog, or vlog if you prefer, right here on the Sounds In Me website. This particular blog, or perhaps we could call it a story, or a post, well, the name doesn't matter as much as the essence, and today, we immerse ourselves in a journey that spans three different countries and three vibrant cities, all united by the universal language of music. The three cities I ventured into were Copenhagen in Denmark, followed by Berlin in Germany, and finally, the enchanting Palma de Mallorca in Spain. All of this took place during the month of June 2023, which is where we currently find ourselves.
We analyse songs
what we mean by "analyzing" a song. Essentially, this means breaking down the different elements of a song and understanding how they all work together to create the overall sound and meaning.
To do this, we'll need to look at a few different things:
The lyrics: What is the song about? What emotions does it convey?
The melody: How does the tune of the song contribute to its overall feeling?
The instrumentation: What instruments are used, and how do they contribute to the song's sound and atmosphere?
The structure: How is the song arranged? What's the verse-chorus-verse structure, and how does it contribute to the song's impact?
Once we've looked at all of these elements, we can start to understand how they all fit together to create the overall feeling and meaning of the song.
